LCD liquid crystal or Not - That is the Question

!±8± LCD liquid crystal or Not - That is the Question

One of the most difficult choices of home decorating and retail world of today may be between an LCD (liquid crystal display) or plasma flat-screen TV choice. LCD or plasma ... this is the problem?

When choosing between these two is really possible to choose between two competing technologies that are very similar packages and reach very similar characteristics, with bright colors and crisp, clear images. Although they seem very similar on these two fronts, using the actual process of the two technologies to provide the picture is very different. In LCD, thin-film transistors send an electrical charge to a series of many cells that are filled with liquid and crushed between two glass plates with a response that is accessed by the light of a lamp behind the filter screen. Plasma technology has electrical impulses that react with hundreds of thousands of gas-filled pixels to create a glow of light and release.

There was a time when the gapbetween two much larger areas than any specific common problem was, but with the increasing number of technological innovations for both types of presentation, the problems of the past are becoming less frequent. In the past, yet something is, of course, with plasma TV, the "burn-in" effect, if a particular image remains static for long periods, eventually burning into the screen and remained there as a shadow, even when the 'image disappeared. LCDTV does not have this effect.

While no LCD burn-in issues have plasma has a contrast a little 'better among black and other, better viewing angles, bright colors and sometimes more. On the other hand, LCDs are much better to consume the electricity bill about 50% of electricity is a plasma. They also work much better in high altitude areas like plasma.

If you play lots of games, or connect the computer toit, if you wish to have an LCD TV. If you want to watch more sport and films, the plasma has a slight advantage.

Whatever you decide, you're looking at a great buy and a big step towards the real damage is a top-of-the-line apartment complex. I recommend you take the optional extended warranty or insurance coverage, such as retailers with whom you will be offered from the TV. These plans are worth the cost and keep you protected from almosteverything that goes wrong ...
